Public Art

The art selection committee for Skedsmo municipality in Norway are inviting artists / artist collectives to express their interest in commissions for Flomvollen Kunstpark. The art park is currently under construction in the town of Lillestr�m in Skedsmo municipality. Lillestr�m is situated 18 kilometres north of Oslo.

The selection committee are looking for site-specific works that can relate to issues of the environment and renewable energies, and that will contribute to making the art park a place where people will want to congregate. Collaboration with scientists and researchers is a possibility, as Skedsmo municipality is home to Norway's leading research unit on solar energy, renewable energy, etc.
