Lines in the Landscape I and II.

From the 2nd November Parramatta Park, Old Government House and Experiment Farm will host a series of ephemeral artworks. Using the everyday techniques of line marking and stenciling, the artists Fiona Davies and Patricia Prociv will redraw the town planning of the 1790s onto the modern landscape. Stenciled over the grass will be the names of the types of foods that were grown in these areas. These artworks focus on the scarcity of the food supply, and start to draw out ideas about misunderstandings about food and ownership.
