Outdoor Gallery Curator, Portobello, Edinburgh
Expressions of interest are invited from experienced curators wanting to work with ?Big Things on the Beach?, a community led Public Arts Trust based in Portobello, Edinburgh. The Portobello Garden Gallery project will commence in August 2008. The project involves the display of contemporary artworks selected through an Open Call to artists with the works being sited in the front gardens along the Portobello Promenade and in the nearby streets. This freelance contract is for April-September 2008 and is responsible for managing all aspects of the project. The inclusive fee is £7,500.00. Funding decisions for the project are imminent from the ?Gulbenkian Foundation?, ?Awards for All? and other sources.
